It was close to the Monument we wished to visit the next morning.
The room smelled SO BAD. Like someone had dumped five cans of air freshener in the room. Seriously, woke me up at nigh because would get a whiff of it. My guess is the guest before us smoked in the room. Still, there are better ways of removing smoke then trying to hide it under crazy amounts of perfume. For those with breathing issues it makes a bad situation much much worse. We got in very late so the kids were asleep and we didn't move rooms/hotels - huge mistake on our part. By morning both my daughter and my asthma was really bad. Note to the management, some people have health problems and that is why we ask for non-smoking rooms. I get that some people are jerks and smoke in them anyway. Don't take that out on other guests! Also don't try to hide it! Next time we will camp outside in a tent before ever staying at this hotel - yah, that bad. A hotel stay should never make one sick.

Comfy beds, but breakfast disappoints
It was like a warm hug after a long drive. The newly renovated room was refreshing!
The breakfast left much to be desired. A simple spread of toast and some cereal just didn't cut it. I missed a hearty meal.

We explored nearby lakes and tried golfing at a local course. The location is ideal for outdoor activities. The staff was friendly, and our room was comfortable. Just a heads up , the breakfast options can be limited, so you might want to grab something from a nearby café.
We faced a frustrating issue with the Wi-Fi not working , tough to plan our outings. It put a bit of a damper on our trip.

The queen room was spacious and pet-friendly. We also loved how easy it was to hop on the freeway for our road trip. Definitely a solid stop on our journey!
I didn't even get to try breakfast since we hit the road early. If you're super picky, remember this isn't a 5-star spot, but it still had a cozy vibe.

Not the best stay
Checked in and the lady at the front desk was nice, but that's where the good vibes ended. Two remotes in the room and none worked for the TV. Called the front desk three times to get help. Also found some old leftovers in the fridge! Clean bed on one side, but the other had clippings. Breakfast wasn't exciting either.
